Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Flutter ("we", "us", "our") handles information collected through this website. We collect only what we need to answer you, take your order, and deliver your rental, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
When you contact us: the name, email address, phone number, and message you enter in the contact form.
When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, event date and time, venue name and delivery address, the items you are renting, and the typed name and date you provide as your electronic signature on the rental agreement. We keep a record of that signed agreement.
If you create an account: your email address and a password, which is stored in a scrambled form that we cannot read.
Payments: card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and the last digits of the card.
Analytics: pages visited, general device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how visitors move through the site, including clicks, taps, and scrolling. This analytics measurement is configured so that it does not capture the text you type into form fields.
How we use it
To answer your questions, quote and schedule your rental, calculate delivery, take payment, keep a record of the agreement, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Delivery addresses
When you ask for a delivery quote, we send the address you enter to Google's mapping service to work out the distance and the fee. We do not use your address for anything else.
Who helps us run this site
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf so the site can function: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (stores orders, accounts, and site content), Stripe (payment processing), SendGrid (delivers order and contact emails), Google Maps (delivery distance and pricing), and PostHog (site analytics, stored in the United States). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. None of them use this site to track you across the web.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@fluttereventrentals.com and we will take care of it. You can also reach us at (208) 843-1988. Note that we keep records of completed rentals and signed agreements for as long as we need them for our business and tax records, so some information may remain after a deletion request.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how sites should respond, so we do not respond to it. We do not track you across other websites regardless.
Retention and security
We keep order records and signed rental agreements for as long as we need them for our business and tax records. Contact messages are kept while we need them to respond, then deleted. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website can promise perfect security.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version on this page.
